Md Towsif-ur-Rahman,JnU Correspondent: The university administration has decided to continue physical class/examination and other educational activities on the campus of Jagannath University (JnU). It has been decided to start the first year classues for the newly admitted students in the 2020-21 academic year from 10th February. On Wednesday (January 12, 2022) at 2:30 pm, The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by the University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Imdadul Haque in his conference room on ‘taking classes’, confirmed several deans and chairmen present at the meeting.
University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md Imdadul Haque, Treasurer Prof. Dr. Kamaluddin Ahmed, Dean of all the faculties, Director of all the institutes, Registrar, Chairman of all the departments, Proctor, Director (Student Welfare) and Director of the Office of the Controller of Examinations were present in the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Raich Uddin, said that classes will continue on campus until government instructions are given. Most of the teachers present voted in favor of taking physical classes and this decision was taken.
