Jnu Reporter: Jagannath University Reporters Unity (JnURU) has organized ‘Discussion Meeting on Bangabandhu’s Non-Communal Consciousness and Iftar Mahfil-2022′. A discussion meeting and iftar mahfil was held at the central auditorium of Jagannath University.
It was chaired over by Imtiaz Uddin, President of Jagannath University Reporters’ Unit and conducted by General Secretary Mahmudul Hasan Tuhin and Joint Secretary Yusuf Ali Bappi.
Professor Dr. Md. Imdadul Haque thanked JnU Reporters Unity and said, “I know Jagannath University Reporters Unity.
Always speak in the spirit of freedom. Regarding Bangabandhu, he said, “Bangabandhu was a non-sectarian from his birth, so that we can say that religion is everyone’s festival.” The infrastructure that he built during the three years rule of Bangladesh after independence is still going on. Everyone has to work for the goal of building a non-communal country of Bangabandhu. At present many of our students are moving away from secular consciousness. That is why we all have to work to increase awareness.
At this time, the treasurer said in a special guest speech. said that Kamal Uddin Ahmed said University Reporters Unity is working honestly. Jagannath University is represented in the court of the world. The administration will be by the side of the Reporters’ Unity for any type of cooperation.
Teachers Association President Prof. Md. Abul Hossain said, “Everyone should learn from Bangabandhu’s non-communal consciousness and keep it in his heart.”
Al-Razi Mahmud Anik, Founder and Chief Adviser of JnU Reporters Unity and Reporterof Bangladesh Journal, said in his speech that there is a history behind Jagannath University Reporters Unity. The activities of the Reporters’ Unity will always be conducted on the principles of honesty, courage and non-communalism. We are not neutral, Jagannath University Reporters Unity will always be strongly biased towards the truth.
Jagannath University Teachers Association General Secretary Prof. Dr. Lutfar Rahman, JnU Chhatra League President Ibrahim Faraji, General Secretary SM Akhtar Hossain and Risingbd’s Head of Business Senior Journalist Sajjad spoke on the occasion.
The president and general secretary of the branch Chhatra League thanked the JnU Reporters Unity for holding Bangabandhu’s non-communal consciousness and holding a discussion meeting on the issue.
Proctor Professor Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Assistant Proctor Newton Hawladar, JnU Nildal Media Secretary Mubarak Hossain, teachers of different departments, leaders of social and cultural organizations of the university, students, officials and employees, members of the journalists’ association and leaders and workers were present.
