Fact: Online classes for coronary students

Don’t do more than two hundred countries. The war does not seem to be stopping. The world has breathed a sigh of relief. Corona’s aggression is going on all over the world. This invisible nonsense has lost the best material in the world and has become the crown of success and is ruling all over the world including Europe-America-Asia. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. However, experts believe that the next 3/4 years will be the reign of Corona. Physicians, scientists, heads of state, VIPs, ministers, MPs or the general public have no choice, no one is being exempted from this small to insignificant nonsense. The lives of more than five lakh people have not stopped. The intoxication of more lives is spreading from country to country. Has attacked more than one crore lives. The best creature in creation seems to be his goal. People are not sitting still, as if they have accepted the challenge of war properly. In this global situation, Bangladesh is not a fighter with Europe-America. The death toll in Europe-America heavyweight countries has crossed one lakh, our neighboring countries India, Pakistan, China are also struggling to handle the situation. In Bangladesh too, there are around one and a half lakh infected, the number of deaths is about two thousand. As part of the war, lockdowns, social distances and all educational institutions, offices, courts, shopping centers and public gatherings have been shut down. On the other hand, research on vaccine making is going on. One country after another has claimed success in developing vaccines, but the real success is still unparalleled.

The lockdown is going on in a limited way thinking about the income of the common people of Bangladesh. Offices and courts are also opening to a limited extent. But the world has not calmed down yet, don’t stop. Different areas of Bangladesh have been divided into red, yellow and green zones keeping in mind the number of victims. And various zone-based steps have been taken. Is it at all possible to open an educational institution in this situation? No, not possible, not consistent. Because the lives of about 4 crore students, about 14 lakh teachers and about 6 lakh officials involved in education first, then education. So the government has taken an admirable digital initiative considering the aspect so that the students do not lag behind in their studies and do not endanger their health. Classes are being routinely broadcast on Sangsad Television at the initiative of the government, which students from all over Bangladesh can see, learn and continue their studies. Teachers have also emphasized on online classes for students of all educational institutions in the country to continue their studies as per government guidelines. The upazila administration has also taken various initiatives so that the students do not fall behind, live class on local cable TV is one of them. Moreover, using Facebook Page Live, YouTube, Web Page, Zoom, Messenger Room, Google Classroom, etc., teachers are delivering their thematic classes to the students. If the student has any questions in the inbox, the teacher is answering. Subject teachers come live and take classes, students are able to participate directly. Teachers are making suggestions, students are getting the right instructions. Students are able to express their views through reactions, comments and shares. Such an initiative is rare in a developing country like Bangladesh. Thanks to the Mother of Humanity, Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for taking such an initiative.

The demand of our time was a digital initiative that would keep pace with the world. Hon’ble Prime Minister seems to have implemented that demand. It is undeniable that the Hon’ble Prime Minister along with his Information and Communication Technology Advisor Sajeeb Wazed Joy has made the country digital and is also advancing education on the path of digital. Electricity in homes, mobile phones in hand, the Internet has made people digital in every area. It is easy to imagine what our country would have been like if the ICT system had not been strengthened. Students’ online classes at this time of the year are the benefits of that digital. ‘The modern world will be information technology based and education will be online based’ may not be far off that day. Bangladesh is also moving in the same direction under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The education system is online based and students are gaining knowledge of information technology through multimedia classes. Which is preparing our future generations to keep pace with the world. Bangladesh has entered the digital age today and is able to keep pace with the world in these difficult times.

Many teachers in rural and urban areas of Bangladesh, especially those in their fifties, were very reluctant to learn online. Maybe because I don’t know how to use it online. During this time all the teachers including those teachers have learned to use online. This online class has benefited the students as well as the teachers. The teaching practice of the teachers has also been done properly. Online class preparation has forced teachers to practice reading. Thanks to the Prime Minister for that too. Because this online class has put the students as well as the teachers back on the reading table. Nowadays students as well as teachers were moving away from the practice of reading. As a result, quality education was declining. One thing that has been discussed for a long time about the education system in Bangladesh is quality education. If these online classes and IT based classes, students and teachers can be brought back to the reading table, the good days of study will return and world class education will be available in Bangladesh as well.
