a webinar entitled “Applications of Mathematics in Science and Engineering”

(Online) was held. The main research paper in the webinar was presented by a Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics Dr. Sharaban Thohura. The subject of his research was flow of non-Newtonian fluid in the skewed cavity and heat transfer. The department Chairman Prof. Dr. Md Shariful Alam was present as the president of the webinar.

In his speech, the chairman mentioned that through the webinars of such organizations, the research results of the teachers of the department and honors from the 1st year.

Everyone is aware about the practical application of various course materials till the last year and  will be inspired by research. He further said that during his tenure, he will provide all necessary assistance in organizing such seminars in future. Present as the session chair of the ceremony was the convener of the webinar committee Professor. Dr. Md Sarwar Alam.

He said that mathematics is the main tool in the spread of science and engineering. In encouraging research, today’s webinar organized and such seminars will continue in the future. The webinar was hosted by Associate Professor. Dr. Mostak Ahmed.

The webinar was attended by all the teachers of the mathematics department and students of different years. Also some local and foreign researchers attended in the webinar.
