Md Towsif-ur-Rahma,, JnU Correspondent: Jagannath University (JnU) has 46 teachers and two students in the list of the world’s best researchers.
All these teachers of different departments of JnU have made a position in the AD Scientific Index 2021, which was recently published with the world’s best researchers.
They are among the 1,788 researchers in Bangladesh who are on the list. Kamrul Alam Khan (Professor of Physics), Al Amin Haque (Associate Professor of Department of Geography and Environmental Sciences) ranked 1st in JnU & 17th in Bangladesh. Mohammad Shahjahan (Professor of Department of Chemistry), and Saleh Ahmed (Associate Professor of Department of Chemistry) are ranked 2nd in JnU. Mohammad Musharraf Hossain (Associate Professor of Department of Pharmacy) ranked 3rd in JnU.
The other teachers on the list are AKM Lutfar Rahman (Professor of Chemistry), Mohammad Syed Alam (Professor of Chemistry), Jayant Kumar Saha, Mohammad Lokman Hossain, Rajibul Akand, Elias, Delwar Hossain, Professor Md. Noor Alam Abdullah, (Professor of Physics), and other teachers. The list includes Sayeda Tasnim Touhid, Shariful Alam, MA Mamun, Qutb Uddin, Zulfiqar Mahmud, Atiqul Islam, Mohammad Ali, Zahid Hasan, Md. Abdul Baki, Parimal Bala, Md. Bayezid Ali, Rajdola Rafi, Sukumar Bepari, Mostaq Ahmed, Ekramul. Karim, Hasibul Hasan, Golam Adam, Abdul Malek, Al Hakim, Sarwar Alam, Abdul Quader, Kazi Sakhawat Hossain, Monowarul Islam, Abdullah Al Momin, Mallik Akram Hossain, Sagir Hossain, Shantanu Kumar, Sanyal, Moinul Hasan, Sajal Haldar, Saima Khanam, Sajeeb Saha, Biswajit Kumar Biswas, Laisa Ahmed Lisa.
Also on the list are two students from Jagannath University, Rion Tanvir from the Department of Microbiology, and Farhad Hossain from the Department of Geography and Environmental Sciences.
The list of researchers from 206 countries in 12 categories has been published in the ranking. 7 lakh 8 thousand 561 researchers have got a place in it. Scientific Index publishers rankings based on the H-Index, Iten Index and Citation Score of the last 5 years of research taken from the Google Scholar’s research profile of researchers.
