Md.Towsif-ur-Rahman, JnU Correspondent : Today (17th Oct 2021), the GST examination of the Science group was held at about 12:00 pm across 26 public universities. The examination was conducted all over the country without any indiscipline.

The candidates were keen to reach their exam centers before time. Jagannath University was a favourite common exam center for students coming from Dhaka and nearby places.

Before the exam time, the gates were opened and the candidates were allowed to enter the University Premises. To help the candidate reach their exam rooms, many organizations such as BNCC, Scout, Girl Guide were actively working in the campus. Besides the Student Welfare Organizations of different districts also formed booths and banner just to help the candidates.

The Proctorial body were present in the campus to ensure peace and discipline in JnU campus. Besides, there were also Police forces to maintain security and to avoid violence of law.

Proper measures were taken to avoid the question paper leak of GST and the Magistrates were active on every exam centers across the country. The exam halls of JnU were visited by the Vice-Chancellor Dr. Md. Imdadul Hoque, Treasurer Dr. Kamaluddin Ahmed, Registrar Engineer Md. Ohiduzzaman, the Faculty deans and the proctorial body.

After the visit VC Dr. Md. Imdadul Hoque said, “We didn’t enter the exam rooms just to ensure that we don’t disturb the students. A single mark is very important for each student.”

The Candidates expressed their gratitude to the decision of taking a single examination for the 20 Universities all at once. They were pleased and happy with the decision. They also said that the Question was very much standard.

The Guardians also said that the decision of GST have helped them both mentally and economically. The questions standarized the exams.

Again the VC of JnU Dr. Md. Imdadul Hoque said that the  exams were conducted without any hustle and chaos. We were always in favor of GST examination. The succesful conduction of examination paved all our hardworks
